This method of non-surgical lift is relatively new. Taking the method of treating only the affected area, this treatment requires less recovery time and targets just the affected area.

Fraxel laser resurfacing involves the application of thousands of microscopic lasers to help remove age spots, wrinkles, scars and other signs of aging. As it attacks these signs of aging, it also helps to stimulate the production of new and healthy skin.

One of the benefits of Fraxel laser resurfacing over surgery is the lack of downtime required after treatment. Some people however report pain or discomfort. Generally the smaller the area done, the fewer side effects.

There have been other types of laser treatments available to reduce wrinkles, but Fraxel is a more modern version that has fewer side effects a lower downtimes. It's a procedure that's done by a dermatologist, and would require a consultation as well.
